World Beard Day

A performer with a full grey beard and tortoiseshell glasses in a tweed jacket, mustard turtleneck, paisley cravat and red pocket square, holding a small notebook and pen; another person’s hand rests on their shoulder. On a stage in front of a grey brick wall, a performer with long curly hair and a long white beard, in a pale shirt with a paisley tie hanging loose, crouches holding a handful of small metal objects while a child in a flat cap, bow tie, blue shirt, braces and shorts reaches toward them, laughing. A performer with purple-lit hair, round black glasses and a long grey beard, in a blue plaid three-piece suit, mouth open mid-shout with one fist raised, framed by pink feather fans. Two people sitting close together, one with a long grey beard and a jewel on their forehead holding a guitar, the other leaning their head on that shoulder with eyes closed, both smiling.

Did you know today is World Beard Day? 🧔🏻‍♂️🌎❤️

Today we’re celebrating the best facial hair this side of the Rappahanock! That beard just happens to sit on the beautiful face of FTE Board Member and Few Good Men Assistant Director, Doy!

In addition to his impressive ability to grow facial hair, Doy is an accomplished actor on the FTE stage and serves as a member of our Culture Committee.

Thanks for everything you do for FTE, Doy!
